Cheeseburger Tacos

This meal is both delicious and fun to make! When you can’t decide between tacos or burgers for dinner, this meal is the perfect and tasty compromise that the whole family will enjoy. Customize these how you like your burgers and fold them up and eat them like a taco!

Cheeseburger Tacos

Ingredients for 6-12 Servings

  • Burger Sauce
  • 1 cup
    Mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbs
    Ketchup
  • 2 Tbs
    Mustard
  • 1 ts
    Garlic Powder
  • 1 ts
    Onion Powder
  • 1/2 ts
    White pepper
  • 1 ts
    Paprika
  • 1/2 ts
    Salt
  • Burger Tacos
  • 6-12
    Small tortillas
  • 1 lb
    Ground beef
  • to taste
    Salt
  • to taste
    Pepper
  • 6-12
    American Cheese slices
  • 1
    White onion, diced
  • Shredded iceberg lettuce
  • Dill pickle chips

Method

  1. In a small bowl, combine ingredients for burger sauce and set aside.
  2. Take some ground beef and spread it thinly and evenly over each tortilla. Season each with salt and pepper
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, place the tortilla in the pan, meat side down. You can cook more than one at a time if your pan is large enough.
  4. After 2-3 minutes, the meat will be cooked enough to turn over once you see a brown crust. Lower heat and flip tortilla over.
  5. Add a slice of American cheese to eat patty and cook 2-3 more minutes until the cheese has melted and the tortilla has browned a little and it is crispy.
  6. Take tortillas out of the pan and set aside to finish cooking the rest of the patties
  7. Assemble your burger tacos and add lettuce, onion, pickles and top with a bit of the burger sauce
